If the commercial warranty for your lens has expired or if the defect is not covered by it, we offer some good repair options.
Choose between repair at a fixed price, maximum price or cost proposal.
Fixed price:
For some standard cine lenses we offer repair at a fixed price for defects caused by normal wear and tear. The fixed price includes the cost of testing optical and mechanical performance, labor and standard parts. If larger problems are found while testing a new cost proposal will be sent before any service is started. If you say no to the cost estimate, a fee will be charged to cover the cost of the survey.
Maximum price:
Enter a maximum price for the repair that you think is reasonable to pay when you send the lens to us. You hereby agree that we repair the product as long as the cost of the repair does not exceed your maximum price. If the repair is cheaper than your maximum price, you pay the actual cost. If the repair cost instead exceeds your maximum price, we will send you a cost proposal before we proceed with the repair. By choosing a maximum price from the beginning, the repair is much faster and there will also be no cost if the repair is rejected (applies to cost proposals).
Cost proposal:
We examine your product based on your error description and give you a quote for the repair. You can choose to accept or reject the cost proposal before the repair work begins. If you say no to the cost estimate, a fee will be charged to cover the cost of the survey.
